| Bio: | in a dream i had, i was on an open topped tour bus, looking at the stars at night. i was in the middle of the city, but the sky was clearer than it had ever been and there miraculously didn't seem to be any light pollution. i saw all the constellations i could recognize clearer than ever before, there seemed to be stars that were new, outlining the curve of orion's back, and the neck of a goose, and they glittered and wavered like they never had before. i saw constellations i had never seen before, but i recognized shapes, all manner of mundane things, a high backed chair, a pair of scissors, faces, animals, trinkets. the stars aligned to make perfect implied contours, and the points of light almost seemed to represent corners and edges of the roundest and fullest parts of these things, and the concavities as well but dimmer stars. and as the bus rattled on and i stared up, i noticed a stereopsis happening there, the normally two dimensional sphere of the sky had a depth i had never seen, the constellations seemed to be like points of light hanging just below a distant canopy, that shifted perspective when you moved far enough, fast enough. it was beautiful, one of the most beautiful things i have seen in a very long time.
it's like how i wish i could lay down in the middle of a crater so i could feel like the sky was crushing me.
